We developed hundreds of cuts around a new 6-note logo, all composed to reflect the varying styles of music heard across the BBC network.

We first worked with BBC Local Radio in 2009. Our mission was to compose a recognisable and adaptable identity representing each of the 39 stations, an approach that had never been tried before. You can listen to a selection of our work in 2009 on its Portfolio Page.

We started working on the package in January 2015, developing hundreds of cuts around the new logo. Completing everything in September, the project concluding with recording the extraordinary BBC National Orchestra of Wales in Cardiff and the BBC Big Band at Angel Studios, London before mixing and mastering all the tracks at Mcasso.

Listeners will be able to hear the new theme for each station from October, or you can listen to a selection of our work for BBC Radio London and BBC Radio Devon above.
