Absent

For some families in the UK, having to make a choice to feed their children or heat their home, spending just a couple of pounds on sanitary products is simply not an option. ‘Absent’ - directed by Libby Burke Wilde, tells the story of Chloe and a harsh reality faced by many children in the UK for whom period poverty is a monthly truth.

The short film was made for UK charity Freedom4Girls, who are at the forefront of the campaign to make period products a human right for girls.
